Before you start

Ready stance and a basic platform; no diving.

2–4 players per station. With four, the player without a ball observes one cue or rehearses footwork in clear space; rotate every five attempts. For 12 players: three groups of four, provided lanes remain separated.

Starting dose

2 rounds of 10 easy balls; rotate every 5.

This volume is a teaching starting point, not an individual prescription.

Observe & correct

Cue: Read early; give the next player time with height.

Error → correction: A feeds too hard: replace hits with easy tosses.

Observable outcome: Count balls the target can reach without a dive.

Adapt to the group

Easier: Keep feeds central and predictable.

Harder: Feed a little to either side, without increasing force.

Alternative setup: With two players, return the ball high to A.
