Before you start
Each player can restart with a catch-and-toss.
2–4 players per station. With four, the player without a ball observes one cue or rehearses footwork in clear space; rotate every five attempts. For 12 players: three groups of four, provided lanes remain separated.
Starting dose
3 rounds of 2 minutes; 1 minute for roles and feedback between rounds.
This volume is a teaching starting point, not an individual prescription.Observe & correct
Cue: Keep all three involved; count a team sequence, not an individual winner.
Error → correction: One player dominates: rotate roles and require a call before contact.
Observable outcome: Record the longest cooperative sequence with all players involved.
Adapt to the group
Easier: Allow one catch on every contact to learn the sequence.
Harder: Remove one permitted catch while keeping the same space.
Alternative setup: In pairs, alternate high contacts with a catch to reset.
